About the Project

Project Story

This 7.5 MW single access tracker community solar farm in Cincinnatus, New York is located on a family farm. Cincinnatus, as well as nearby communities, have a large dairy presence. In fact, Chobani, one of the world's largest Greek yogurt producers, is located just east of this site. Cows can be seen grazing near the solar farm, as well as horses owned by the developer. This community knows the value of local, sustainable dairy production and will find similar environmental and cost benefits from the clean energy produced at the German community solar plant.
